This recipe is pretty versatile, but may require a little tweaking on your part. Depending on the type of apple you use, you may have to increase the baking time... but it's well worth the wait.
Ingredient List:
2 cans cinnamon roll dough
1 Apple OR 1 can Apple Pie Filling OR 1 Quart Home Canned Apples
3 Tablespoons Cinnamon
3 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
Open the Cinnamon Rolls and cut each roll into four pieces.
Roll each piece into a ball.
Place cinnamon roll balls in a large bowl
If using fresh apples, sautee your apple on medium high heat for about 6 minutes.
Add apple to bowl with cinnamon rolls.
If using Apple Pie Filling, skip step 4 and just open the can and pour it into the bowl.
If using Home Canned Apples, also skip step 4, drain off any liquids, and pour into bowl.
Add Cinnamon, Sugar and Brown Sugar to bowl.
Mix well.
Pour into grease bundt pan, evening out the mixture if needed.
Bake for:
20-25 Minutes for Fresh Apples
30-35 Minutes for Apple Pie Filling
40-45 Minutes for Home Canned Apples
Serve plain, or with caramel sauce, or honey.
