Creamy Ham and Broccoli Shells and Cheese

This is one of those recipes that is AMAZING when it's fresh, but it gets super sticky and gloppy if you try to eat the leftovers, so I suggest, you eat it all for dinner!


Ingredients List:

1 1/2 cups Dry Shells Pasta

1 1/2 cups Broccoli Florets

1/4 cup Butter

1/4 cup Flour

2 cups Milk

1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder

1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 1/2 cups Ham (chopped)

Salt and Pepper to taste

2 cups Cheddar Cheese (shredded)


  1. Set a large pot of water to boil.

  2. Add pasta and cook according to package directions.

  3. Add broccoli to boiling water with pasta during the last 4-3 minutes of cooking time.

  4. Drain and set aside in a colander.

  5. In the same large pot, set over medium heat, melt butter.

  6. Stir in flour.

  7. Cook mixtures, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.

  8. Whisk in. milk.

  9. Season with Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt and Pepper.

  10. Increase heat to medium-high and cook mixture, stirring constantly until it boils and thickens.

  11. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.

  12. Add pasta, broccoli, and ham, tossing to coat.
