An age-old classic made by Grandma's everywhere, Goulash is a great quick meal for your busy mid-week night. And with my particular recipe, it's a one-pot dish!
Ingredient List:
1 lb Ground Beef
1 15 oz can Tomato Sauce
1 15 oz can Diced Tomatoes
1 15 oz can Corn
2 6.5 oz cans Mushroom Stems & Pieces
2-3 Tablespoons of Spice Island Garlic and Herb Blend (to taste)
1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
2 Cups Elbow Macaroni
3 Cups Water
1 Cup Shredded Cheese (of your choice)
In large pot, brown ground beef. Drain fat if necessary.
Add Tomato Sauce, Diced Tomatoes, Corn, Mushrooms and Spices to the pot.
Give it a stir.
Add water to the pot.
Add Elbow Macaroni to the pot.
Give it a stir.
Bring back to boil and cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Don't overcook your pasta, it's not good.
Remove from heat, and let sit for 5 minutes.
Dish up and top with shredded cheese.
Enjoy!
