Homemade Yumm! Bowls

If you don't have a Cafe Yumm! near you, you're missing out. I love Cafe Yumm! But they're always crazy busy and I would end up blowing most of my lunch break standing in line, just waiting for my food. So, when I discovered you could buy Yumm Sauce, pre-bottled, I was over the moon! Then, when I found it at my local grocery store, I snagged two bottles and went to the kitchen. Here's how to make my personal favorite, the Yumm! Baby.

Ingredients List:

Rice (I usually do 2 cups Rice and 3 cups Water in my rice cooker)

Yumm! Sauce (I tend to like a little more than they put on it in the restaurant)

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Pan fried chicken (I use 1 boneless/skinless thigh per bowl, but you can use whatever you have on hand)

Grape or Cherry Tomatoes

Sliced Olives

Avocado

Parsley

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.

  2. In a shallow frying pan, heat the Olive Oil and pan-fry chicken till the outside is a nice golden brown, and the chicken is cooked through.

  3. Cut tomatoes into 1/2's or 1/4's depending on the original size.

  4. Dice avocado.

  5. Layer bowl as follows:

    1. Rice

    2. Yumm! Sauce

    3. Chicken

    4. Tomatoes

    5. Olives

    6. Avocado

    7. Parsley

Note - want the Original Yumm! Bowl? Add some Black Beans...
