This was my first attempt at homemade pizza dough. And oddly enough, I think I got it right on the first try.
Ingredient List
2.5 cups Flour + more for working the dough
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 1/4 cups Warm Water
2 tablespoons Olive Oil + more to oil pans
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Garlic Paste
2 tablespoons Dry Parsley
If baking immediately, preheat oven to 425°.
Mix together Flour, Baking Powder, Salt & Sugar (and any other dry add-ins desired) in a medium-sized bowl.
Measure Warm Water in a liquid measuring cup and add Olive Oil.
Stir
Dump Water and Oil into dry ingredients.
Stir to combine. (If the mixture is too dry, add more water 1 tablespoon at a time until the dough forms a shaggy ball with no dry spots)
Set dough aside and oil pizza pans. (Trust me when I say to oil every surface this dough may touch!)
Press dough into prepared pans. Sprinkle with more flour every time your fingers encounter a wet spot.
Cover with sauce and your favorite toppings.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 10-11 minutes, or to desired doneness.
