Poultry Patty Parm

Don't do what I did and make only 4 patties out of this recipe! I was lucky if I could eat 1/2 of a patty anyway. They're pretty quick to put together though and have great flavor.

Ingredients List

2 pounds of ground Poultry (light & dark meat) (I used Turkey for mine)

Salt and Pepper

3/4 - 1 1/2 cups Bread Crumbs (I needed more since my Turkey was home-ground and contained more moisture, so depending on the source of your meat, you may as well.

1/3 cup Milk

1 Egg

1 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)

3 cloves of Garlic (grated; or use paste)

1/2 cup fresh Parsley (chopped)

1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg

2 cups of your favorite jarred Marinara Sauce

2 cups Mozzarella Cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 500°

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Gather your ingredients.

  4. Mix all ingredients except Marinara Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese together in a large bowl.

  5. Form 8 patties from the mixture, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Place in oven and bake for 12 minutes.

  7. Remove.

  8. Top the patties with Marinara Sauce, all the way to the edge.

  9. Top again with Mozzarella Cheese.

  10. Place the patties back in the oven to melt and brown the cheese, for about 5-8 minutes.
